We specialize in evidence-based advocacy, including analysis, technical assistance, and education. Using public data and geographic information systems (GIS), we provide investigative studies and demographic, economic, and qualitative analyses.
To date, we have provided research, analyses and trainings in the areas of civil rights, economic development, fair housing, land use, public health, education, environmental justice, and predatory lending.
In addition to working with established local, state and national groups, we also provide technical assistance and training to grassroots associations and low-income neighborhood residents to engender community organization where none has existed, and to enhance leadership development and capacity-building where community groups are already in place. We also work with state and local groups to create change and improve governmental policies.
